Not a Wordless Wednesday… at all…

Hi (Furry)furriends,

Earlier on our garden (Part 1)

And now:

The continuation….

gardenactivitiescontinues

Since my last post…

gardenactivitiescontinues

we had to sleep

wait a few days…

gardenactivitiescontinues

before we could go on…

gardenactivitiescontinues

with our garden…

but then we had another

problem…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…there was no way

to get through the

loamy soil…

because it had become

too dry…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and we had to wait…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…again…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…until…

we were able to dig…

gardenactivitiescontinues

In the meantime…

gardenactivitiescontinues

Grandpaw made a dancefloor circle…

for me…

and for Granny….

gardenactivitiescontinues

and I was almost able

to…

jump on my catwalk…

gardenactivitiescontinues

so I asked Grandpaw

to connect the…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…landing area…

with it…

gardenactivitiescontinues

but then I looked up…

into the sky…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and something collected itself…

into the sky…

and it looked very angry…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and in a few seconds

the wind blew us away….

gardenactivitiescontinues

and it started to rain

…again…

just for a week or so…

…the same week

that Granny’s sister

came to help…

gardenactivitiescontinues

but Grandpaw connected

my catwalk

with Piazza di Pietro

when there was a little bit

of dry moments

in between…

gardenactivitiescontinues

If you think that this

has been all…

gardenactivitiescontinues

I have to disappoint you…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…the worst was yet to come…

gardenactivitiescontinues

It was just one of those

dry days moments again…

gardenactivitiescontinues

on which the sun did his best

to find a way out

of the heavenly heavily

overcasted sky…

gardenactivitiescontinues

I just took a little break…

from all the hard work…

gardenactivitiescontinues

when I heard a lot of noise…

and lightning coming

out of the sky…

gardenactivitiescontinues

I was very scared…

because it went on

for a couple of hours…

gardenactivitiescontinues

It was getting darker and darker…

the lighting was overwhelming…

and Granny was very scared too…

she collected all my things

just in case of an emergency…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…and the weather-girl Granny

made a picture anyway…

just to show you how hard

it has rained…hailed…

gardenactivitiescontinues

Hail as big as tennisballs…

gardenactivitiescontinues

it even made me a hole…

gardenactivitiescontinues

to get out of here….

gardenactivitiescontinues

I was measuring …

gardenactivitiescontinues

the damage…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and walked…

…through water…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…Holy CowKitty…

gardenactivitiescontinues

look at that River Nile…

gardenactivitiescontinues

Granny…

gardenactivitiescontinues

I need a boat…

gardenactivitiescontinues

to cross…

gardenactivitiescontinues

the land…

gardenactivitiescontinues

when the boat doesn’t come

to kitty…

gardenactivitiescontinues

Kitty comes

to the boat herself…

gardenactivitiescontinues

Then finally the sun came out…

…not for long…

because when Grandpaw

started to work…

on my other catwalk…

gardenactivitiescontinues

…history repeated itself…

when another storm

entered our Country….

gardenactivitiescontinues

and

gardenactivitiescontinues

caused..

gardenactivitiescontinues

a..

gardenactivitiescontinues

great deal…

gardenactivitiescontinues

of damage…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and floods…

gardenactivitiescontinues

I have to admit…

gardenactivitiescontinues

that I didn’t have

a problem…

gardenactivitiescontinues

with the holes

under our fence…

gardenactivitiescontinues

but Granny had

so Grandpaw closed

the holes…

gardenactivitiescontinues

to be sure that I couldn’t

cross the line

go visiting the neighbours…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and when he almost

finished…

gardenactivitiescontinues

his back said crack….

Poor Grandpaw

was out of running for more than

…a week…

but now he can walk again…

gardenactivitiescontinues

and watch…

gardenactivitiescontinues

live tv…

with me 😀

…To be continued…

Thank you my furriends 🙂 The big dog on the other side of the fence is our biggest problem. He is really huge and in a way I am so attracted to him even without knowing him 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday 🙂 ❤

The rain is all here, Siddhartha Henry. Here we have floods and on the other side of the world you have drought. I think we miss kind of balance in this world 😀 We had a few days of extremely hot weather, even Granny said that she was to tired to do anything, and she is the sun admirer in the house. We went from 13 degrees to 35 degrees in one day. Something must be wrong with the thermometer 😀 Double Pawkiss for each one of you 🙂 ❤ ❤

First it’s too wet, then it’s too dry, then it’s too wet again 😦
But sooner or later the lovely garden will be finished 🙂

    Hi Binky!!! ❤

Did you get any mud on your fur? You look so pristine in your photos.

… and off the subject, but I was thinking with your black & white fur pattern you could earn some extra $ by being a real life Rorschach test! I would love to have a cat in the therapist's office and interpret your patterns!

Purrhaps, you could post a full body image of yourself and have us (your dedicated & ever-admiring readers) come up with some interpretation … I think that would be fun and interesting. I'd like to see what people come up with! (myself included)

Hope Granpaw is feeling better and I'm glad to know those holes in the fence are blocked … Sorry Binky, you're just too precious to be escaping and wandering away!

MOL…I have mudpaws and I bring mud into the house, but I wash it away in no time…like a magician. That Rorschach test thingie is a great idea, Elizabeth, we keep that in mind 😀 Granny says I carry a little doggie on my back…well..as long as it doesn’t weight anything 😉 Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

I am sure your garden will be gorgeous, sooner or later, maybe at the end of the hurricane season. But your new dancefloor will be fantastic for your cool sleepovers 😀

Oh sweetie – I just want to snuggle you when the storms come. They can be so scary but you are always sweet. Grandpa/Grandma would *never* let anything happen to you. My humans say the same thing to us every time too. And your yard is becoming magical. We absolutely LOVE it! XOXO – Bacon

It’s coming on! It will look lovely when it’s done, I quite fancy a circular dancefloor myself…although I’d probably just put a table and chairs on it, maybe a plant pot or two…

OMGoodness, Little B. A river came right into your backyard. That’s never good! Poor Grandpaw. He is working too hard and needed a rest. I’m glad he’s on the road to recovery and also glad that he patched the hole under the fence. Visiting neighbors is not allowed. Stay safe, little buddy.
