Dear (Furry)furriends,
Another sad day
has entered our life…
Yesterday evening
we got a call from my mom
to tell that she had to go
to the vet…
because my furry sister
Feline
was very inactive
the last few days,
slept a lot
and she also had lost
a lot of weight…
…at once…
We knew that she was
born with URI
and that she had to
undergo an operation…
for her eyes…
…in the future…
according to her vet…
but we were completely
…flabbergasted…
when we got
the extremely sad news
that she has been send
to Furryland
because of
Feline Leukemia..(FeLV)..
There was nothing more
to do…
She was only two and a half
years…. young…
….still a baby….
We feel so sad
and Granny can’t hardly type
because of the tears
so we leave you

Mr Mac had to go to the vet a couple of days ago but with a happier outcome. Listless and not eating – it was a bad infection but two jabs and a course of antibiotics he is still taking seem to have sorted it out. A different cat entirely!

Awww…. a sad time indeed. It’s so difficult to hear about these things. I’m still mourning my 2 kitties that died too soon. They were 14 months old and were killed by an ocelot. We live in a wildlife preserve. They were indoor kitties but escaped from our screened in porch. Sssooo sad … pets grasp our hearts and just don’t let go.

Shorthly before adopting these 2 that were harmed, we had our senior kitty cross over the rainbow bridge. He was 24 years old. He loved us so much he decided to live longer than any kitty I’ve ever heard of living that long. Marshmellow was loved by all. A testiment as to why he wanted to stay with us as long as he did. 😻
